This is the BRAND NEW 84 Engineering "Bevel Boss" Angle Adjustable Rest for easy grinding of bevels against a flat platen or Contact Wheel without a jig! Fits straight up to the Shop Mate 48, Shop Master 72 and 2000 Belt Grinders via the Quick Release Tool Arm.

The angle adjustable bevel rest is a large deep-notch rest that is fully angle adjustable from 0° - 100°. The chamfer on the underside of the rest allows the work surface to be brought to within 1mm of the platen at up to 10° of angle, effectively eliminating any chance of material falling down between the rest and platen.

Simply set the platen and bevel rest to your required angle (we recommend using an angle box for this), then hold spine of knife firmly on the work rest and grinding your bevel to desired depth.

Best suited to scandi grinds, bushcraft knives, hollow grinds etc.

The 300x215mm work rest is fixed includes a 30x30mm or 40x40mm machined aluminium tooling arm to suit your Shop Mate 2x48" or Shop Master 2x72" belt grinder linisher, simply select size option.
